I have just gotten through a difficult divorce in a seven year marriage. I would like to know and understand what lessons there are for me in this.

Journey
When the Journey card is drawn, it indicates the beginning of the next steps. Although your journey with your ex-husband has been completed, your journey in life is certainly not finished! Life is beginning again for you in many ways. Your previous experiences have led you to your next adventures in life. You are where you need to be at this point in your life.Life is a wondrous journey. It holds both ups and downs, happiness and sadness, and so many emotional experiences within it. As this card asks that you learn all you can from the ups and downs, I feel that you are ready to learn what you can. Again, you are where you need to be, and you are pondering the very things that the angels would like for you to think about. This is the time to ask yourself, "What is my purpose? What lessons am I learning or am I meant to learn?" It's a time now to be completely honest with yourself, for you have nothing to hide that the Heavens are not already aware of.
There are reasons that things happen the way they do, even if we can't always see those reasons at first. Look beyond the surface of the situation and let yourself look at the larger picture.
This is a time to connect with your inner child and experience that childlike sense of wonder that can take you to higher levels of consciousness. Look at the world through the innocent eyes of child, and in doing so, it can help you to work past any fears for the future as well as any pains of the past.
It seems that you may have some plans for the future now, and planning is good. Choose to experience your new journey with balance, peace, and love. Your attitudes and perspectives are very important right now. Follow your inner guidance now and be true to yourself. Your next steps are up to you, but it definitely seems that you have places to go and things to see in life! Now is a time to lift yourself out of the web of confusion that might still want to hold you back. Get in touch with your real feelings, dreams, goals, and desires . . . and take the necessary steps to create them!
The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. It's time to take that step now and move forward in your life without looking back.
