The Guardian Angel Cards contain 44 heart-shaped cards. Rather than featuring a picture or an angel image on the cards, they have a keyword and an inspirational paragraph on a colored background. The cards and a 64-page companion booklet is included in the boxed set. In consideration that the booklet does not include any other card information than what is already written on the cards, the booklet seems that it could have been excluded. I had expected to see further notes or information when I opened the book, but I was disappointed. Certainly the paragraph on the cards are sufficient to open up a lot of information, but in most cases, an accompanying guidebook or a booklet will expand on things further. This card set does not do that. This could be especially frustrating to a beginner user of oracles or for someone who is just starting in their efforts to have more communication with the angelic realm.
The booklet only mentions one-card readings and a 4-card spread, so this is a deck that you may wish to also incorporate other spreads for using the cards if you want to have a deeper interpretation.
I do like the non-distractions in a deck like this which contains a keyword and a short message on the face of the cards. This message on the cards is an invitation to let the angels expand on that message in how it applies to you, especially for those who are used to working with angel cards and other oracle systems. You can listen through your intuitive feelings to hear what the angels have to say. The messages are uplifting and comforting.
As the cards are heart-shaped, shuffling the cards are a bit of a challenge, so you may find that mixing them up on your table works best than trying to shuffle them like a regular-shaped deck of cards.
